Sandalwood actor Rakshit Shetty’s much-anticipated film 777 Charlie was slated to hit the big screens on December 31 this year. However, speculations began circulating about the postponement of the film’s release, which Rakshit Shetty confirmed in a press statement on Monday, December 13. 777 Charlie will not release on December 31, the actor announced.

Contrary to general consensus, he took on a massive project for his debut venture, and despite his many preparations to face the challenge that was about to come, he was caught off-guard in many places.

Prithviraj Sukumaran’s production house, Prithviraj Productions, will be presenting the Malayalam version of Kannada actor Rakshit Shetty’s 777 Charlie. The Ayyappanum Koshiyum actor took to social media to share a photo and announced the news to his fans. He also revealed that he saw potions of 777 Charlie and was super impressed with the film’s execution.
“Our steps to take 777 Charlie to the pan-Indian audience is going in the right way,” shares Rakshit Shetty, who adds that the association in any language, should not just be a business tie-up, “We wanted them to believe in our film, and make it reach the audience. Prithviraj came forward to distribute the film by just watching the showreel. He sent positive energy in the film and felt that he should take our film to the Malayalam audience.”
The official teaser of Kiranraj’s directorial 777 Charlie, which will be released on June 6, will be out in five languages. Now, the writer-director is planning an out-of-the-box presentation and has cut a two-minute song teaser, which is said to be unusual.
Speaking to ETimes for an exclusive chat, the director of ‘777 Charlie’ Kiranraj K. has come forward assuring all the fans that the film will definitely be a theatrical release and nothing else.
The makers of pan- India film 777 Charlie will unveil an official teaser on Rakshit Shetty’s birthday, which falls on June 6. Director Kiranraj K, who is working on the teaser, told CE that it will be out in five languages — Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Hindi.
